Marriage Licenses

Lucky for you, not only am I an officiant but I am also a Notary Public. Monterey County, where I am based, has granted me special authorization to issue marriage licenses on their behalf.

 

These marriage licenses can be used ANYWHERE in the state of California. Why is this important for you? It means you do NOT need to jump through all the hoops of fire with the county clerk to get your marriage license - thank goodness!

Married BAM wedding ceremony

Here's how it works:

The marriage license package is valued at $160. This fee includes the county fee for the license of $100 and the state-set fees of $15 each for the four notarizations needed on the accompanying documents.

I will obtain the license from the county, prepare your documents, and have you sign it all the day of your ceremony. Afterwards, I hand deliver the documents back to the county who will then mail you copies of your final marriage certificate. Easy right? The best part about it, is that the cost is already built into the MBAM packages. However, if you were not Married By A Millennial, I can still issue your marriage license for $160 (in the event that you forgot this small detail, no worries, I've got you covered).

Special circumstances:

For those who are in fix and need a marriage license ASAP, I can typically issue one within an hour of any request (evenings, weekends, etc.) when I have a license available. Otherwise, my turnaround time is 1 business day.
